Chris Stapleton (From A Room: Volume 1) and Logic (Everybody) highlights new releases arriving Friday, May 5, 2017.
Ah, the first week in May, and it’s a fairly decent new music release week! May 5, 2017 originally featured Wale among its offerings, but he dropped Shine a week early. Despite the loss of one notable release, May 5th still features new albums from Chris Stapleton and Logic. Those two names alone make this week loaded.
From A Room: Volume 1
Chris Stapleton returns with his sophomore album, From A Room: Volume 1. From A Room follows his 2015 Grammy-winning debut, Traveller, which eventually became a massive commercial success. His second album is skinnier than his debut. Comprised of just nine songs, three singles arrived prior to the album’s release: “Broken Halos,” “Last Thing I Needed, First Thing This Morning,” and “Second One to Know.”
Logic returns with his third studio album, Everybody. Everybody follows up his 2015 sophomore effort, The Incredible True Story. In between his latest two studio efforts, Logic also released a new mixtape, Bobby Tarantino. Everybody features a star-studded cast that includes Alessia Cara, Ansel Elgort, and Juicy J just to name a few. Comprised of 14 tracks, three singles arrived prior to Everybody: “Everybody,” “Black Spiderman,” and “1-800-273-8255.”
