Billboard Hot 100: The Chainsmokers spend an 11th week at no. 1 with “Closer.”  The Weeknd continues to be stuck at no. 2 with “Starboy.”

For an 11th week, The Chainsmokers reign on the Billboard Hot 100.  “Closer” literally seems unstoppable.  That’s likely what The Weeknd is thinking, considering he’s got a hit on his own hands at no. 2 (“Starboy”).  With The Chainsmokers and The Weeknd being the biggest stories, there are more interesting tales on the November 12, 2016 edition of the Hot 100.


  1. The Chainsmokers spend an 11th week at no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 with “Closer.”



  1. The Weeknd remains stuck behind “Closer” with his own hit, “Starboy” (no. 2).



  1. Zay Hilfiggerrr & Zayion McCall enter the top 10 with “Juju On That Beat (TZ Anthem).” The song rises from no. 13 to no. 9.



  1. Gnash re-enters the top 10 with “I Hate U I Love U” (no. 11 to no. 10).

  1. Aminé sees “Caroline” ascend seven spots from no. 32 to no. 25.



  1. Pentatonix debuts at no. 32 with “Hallelujah.”



  1. Lady Gaga’s “Million Reasons” re-enters the Hot 100 at no. 57. “A-YO” debuts at no. 66, while “Perfect Illusion” re-enters at no. 78.



  1. Little Mix takes “Shout Out to My Ex” to no. 69.
