Thoughts: Banks & Steelz, ‘Anything But Words’

★★★★

Members: Paul Banks & RZA

Paul Banks (Interpol) and RZA (Wu-Tang Clan) collaborate on thrilling alternative/hip-hop album, ‘Anything But Words’.

Every now and then, two unlikely musicians come together and make a brilliant musical creation.  In the case of Paul Banks of Interpol and hip-hop veteran RZA of Wu-Tang Clan, their union as Banks & Steelz is nothing short of awesome.  The result is an eclectic album, Anything But Words, that will likely go under appreciated, but definitely shouldn’t be in the least.  Over the course of 12 tracks, Banks & Steelz – with some help from a few guests – delivers one of the years most intriguing efforts.

Don’t be the person who sleeps on Anything But Words.  This is a quality collaboration at its finest.  The link to the full review, featured on The Musical Hype can be found below.
