Before his questionable IV Play album (and maybe even 1977 released initially for free credited to Terius Nash), The-Dream was considered to be one of the most unique and consistent artists in contemporary R&B. Sure, he’s always been foul-mouthed and risqué, but who ain’t these days?
Anyways, after the bomb that was IV Play (it missed the top 10 with abysmal numbers), The-Dream returns with an EP, Royalty – The Prequel, which is streaming at artist share site, Audiomack as of July 7. The Prequel is also available for free download here. Can Terius “The-Dream” Nash regain his swag after losing it shameless on IV Play? Be the judge – have a listen for yourself below or download the seven-song set!
Also, The-Dream dropped a new video, “Black,” which doesn’t appear on the EP and seems to have a surprisingly socially-concious driven message. Is this the same The-Dream?
